What is the money from the heartbeat donations used for?

The money from the heartbeat donations is not used for private purposes. All money is used to keep the website on the internet with sufficient power and bandwidth.

Our main expenses, in order of decreasing value, are:

• Montly hosting costs (server placement & bandwidth)
• Periodically new addition to the servers (upgrades, maintainance)
• Adminitration costs (being a foundation, bank account)
