As the name of the tournament says the games will be of the Xplorers Cities and Knights type.

A group consists of two teams of two players.

We want to let take part as much players as possible. Read more about this in the topic: information for contestants. Sign-ups starts immediately in the extra sign-up-folder for this tournament until 31st of august. Each group will play best-of-three matches. Each team does choose one of the maps below. Both teams are allowed to choose the same map. The third game will be Surprise out of the 5 maps below or a map that both teams do agree to. The first named team will choose the map for game 1 and the second named team the map for game 2.The winning team proceeds to the next round. The other team is eliminated from this tournament.

The teams who reach the Final round will play best-of-five matches.

Games are played up to 17 points. To win a game the players with 17 points must claim victory AND his/her team must have the most points together. Read more about this in the topic: Information for contestants.

Every round will last for up to 4 weeks maximum. In round 1 teams will be grouped geographically. In the next rounds groups will be distributed randomly.

• Round 1 will start at 13th of September.
• Round 2 will start at 13th of October.
• Final round will last for up to 8 weeks maximum.

Winners of all rounds before the finals will play for 1st and 2nd place in the Final round. Runners-up of both groups will play for 3rd and 4th place. Each group will play best-of-five matches. Each team does choose two of the maps below. Both teams are allowed to choose the same maps. The fifth game will be Surprise out of the 5 maps below or a map that both teams do agree to. The first named team will choose the map for games 1 + 3 and the second named team the map for games 2 + 4.

All games will be held in the 2v2 tournament lobby. The games will not be ranked. All games in this 2v2 tournament lobby will be recorded, so that questions afterwards always can be cleared by watsaname who will have access to this recordings.
